You probably recall the long screed against Christians and conservatives some 20 years ago by the homosexual activist who pronounced that the homosexuals would hunt our children down in locker rooms and make what we do (marry) be illegal and what they do legal.

Oregon stole the Christines' children, broke up the family, snatched a just delivered child from the mother after she gave birth, ran a sham trial with a sham defense attorney to a gullible jury who somehow think they won't be next.  The result is that Brian goes to jail for 12-1/2 years, Ruth for 7-1/2 to be deported to England and Brian can't follow.  Sooooooooo...the sodomite agenda has managed to pull off the sodomite's prophecy in Paragraph 1 above:  state-mandated divorce of Christians at the whim of the homosexuals who were peeved that the children escaped their child sex and porn rings.

If the geology of Oregon suddenly bulges and blows into the statrosphere, you will know the God in Heaven who hears the cries of the righteous has heard and is answering.

The Christines would have done better to stick to non-violent ways to make their point, and to get their way.

The public outcry at them fasting to death to get their kids back would have accomplished more then preditorially stalking those State officials who had those kids as per the court's direction.

There is a right way, and a wrong way to do things. We hate the ego and anger based terrorism of the Earth Liberation Front who burn and distroy; violence that makes them making a possitive point in the public's eyes impossible.

I have deep sympathy for them in that I agree their long sentences do not serve the healing of that family, and this is not a situation that begs such a deterence. But they earned prison time for their game of brinksmanship using handguns.

On another note, here is an interesting letter to the editor locally about a recently deceased member of the large counter-culture community of the Eugene, Springfield area, Ken Kesey:

A karmic bummer

Here is something I'll bet you didn't know about Ken Kesey: He was pro-life! In an interview with editor Paul Krassner in the December 1971 issue of the now-defunct social commentary magazine The Realist, Kesey called abortion "a terrible karmic bummer" and "probably the worst worm in the revolutionary philosophy." In his own inimitable way, Kesey said: "You are you from conception, and that never changes no matter what physical changes your body takes... . How can abortion be anything but fascism again, back as a fad in a new intellectual garb with a new, and more helpless victim?"

When asked whether he would consider abortion permissible if his own daughter were impregnated through rape, Kesey said: "Nothing is changed. You don't plow under the corn because the seed was planted with a neighbor's shovel."

Parents Accused of Kidnapping Caught

March 29, 2002

By Editorial Staff

BOISE - The Boise couple wanted on felony kidnaping charges in connection with the disappearance of their three children have been arrested by Oregon State Police in Umatilla County, just inside the Oregon state line. All three of their children are reported to be fine.

Dorothy and John Riveras took their children and failed to return them to Health and Welfare Social Workers. The agency has sole custody of 12-year old Mallorie Riveras, 9-year old Shane Riveras and 4-year old Dillon Riveras, who became wards of the state because of what authorities call an ongoing problem of domestic violence in the home. The children were placed into foster care and John and Dorothy Riveras were granted supervised visitation rights.

In December, the couple told their social worker they would return the children to the foster home at the end of a visit, but did not.

This week, Detective Dale Rogers received information that the Riveras family was staying at a home in Walla Walla, Washington. Acting on the information, Detective Rogers asked police officers there to check the location. The Riveras's reportedly attempted to flee the area with their children in their car. The couple was arrested just across the state line in Oregon.

Plans to extradite of the couple, and bring the children back to Idaho are currently underway.

NOTE

Oregon did not take Ruth's baby, Abbey Rose, in Montana or the other baby Olivia. If you want to use their situation to further your cause you should get the facts straight. The Riveras would probably appreciate your efforts, too. They haven't been accused of child abuse and did not use a firearm to take their kids back. They probably actually deserve some help.

This is such a sad state of affairs. I cannot imagine what the Christines are going through (although I have a feeling at some point we WILL).

God truly does hold things together . . . and how quickly things are unraveling here. We are definitely on the down side of this roller coaster ride.
