As for her comments on France, I agree with Ohioan that it is far too early to give up on France, as Ms. Schussel seems to have already done. In fact, the very fact that Jean-Marie got 17% more of the corresponding Presidential vote than did Pat Buchanan shows that we could, in fact, learn from France.
"One thing is for sure: in the next 50 to 100 yearsmaybe soonerFrance will become a Muslim nation. Demographics dictate it."
...basically proves that she's completely paranoid when it comes to the muslim "threat:. Her extrapolation on demographics is based on linear (even exaggerated) interpolation on the current trend, which is nonsense. 1st generation immigrants don't have much in common with 3rd generation immigrants. And even if the trend remained the same, her "calculations" are wrong.
Second, in her mind, muslim = radical muslim. In France, this only holds for a minority (albeit a quite disturbing, violent and problematic one).
Third, her comments of Arafat's wife and daughter are ridiculous: they're Christian!
Fourth, the arabs don't control the unions, as she pretends. This is sheer bullshit.
Last, her comments on the abortion pill are in complete disconnection with reality. The abortion rate in France and the use of the RU-486 and others are very low as compared to the rest of the western world.
Really, she's nuts.
