who has brought the gospel of Jesus Christ to millions

But refused to rebuke Clinton for his stance on abortion and homo's because he considerd Clinton a friend.

That is when I lost all respect for Billy Graham.

Understood completely - I might add - rather I was trying to illustrate a point

Gotcha. I'm just a little punchy when it comes to things that look even a tad off anymore. After the some of the 'so called christian' apologetics I've seen, I don't much take anything for granted.

Billy Graham "I intend to go anywhere, sponsored by anybody, to preach the Gospel of Christ, if there are no strings attached to my message."

That includes flirting with Catholics and anyone else. Rather, I think your anger lies with Arminians instead of Graham.

Amusing, you

Lev.20

[13] If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

What part of that does anyone not understand? Pretty clear to me.

>Rather, I think your anger lies with Arminians instead of Graham.

Actually, I'm not angry.  Not a bit.  I've also been accused by the Calvinists of being Arminian and am neither Arminian nor Calvinist.  The Lord said to follow him, not men.  I just read the Bible, believe it and do what it says.  To do less is hypocrisy.

There is a "one world church" coming to link Catholics, Protestants and all religions including Buddhist, Hindu and Islam together in one.  Billy Graham, among others, are bringing all Christians into it through ecumenicism...the gospel of the broad way of lukewarm, milksop Christianity which won't stand for anything and falls for every false doctrine that comes along.

Jesus/Yeshua said there is a broad way that leads to destruction and a narrow way which leads to eternal life.  You can believe Billy Graham and the other ecumenicists that the way is broad or you can believe the Lord that it is narrow [strait/constrained/difficult].  I'll give you that choice and won't argue with your decision.  It is too late to argue.

Mt 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:  14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Jer 16:19 O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.

We are in agreement in some regards - I too see a broad faith in the winds - however, Im not so sure Graham is at the heart of it. Rather I see it stemming from the cumulative effect of liberalism / socialism on the culture

Blessings

Liberalism/Socialism got a head start when people stopped obeying the Lord.  Sin separates from God and He won't hear sinners.  The answer is to repent and do what He says.  Also the satanists perverted the the education system back in 1933 until today generations later people don't know how to think.  Many who say they are Christians are in reality just practicing atheistic Secular Humanists.  See 20 and 23 and read this link as well, please:

Anne Graham Lotz is a distinguished Bible Teacher who has become an author and an international speaker.

She has been attacked from all sides, as has her father, while always maintaining or attempting to maintain the highest standards of integrity both in her life and in her ministry.

She led a woman's Bible study for many years in Raleigh, NC and when the demand came to open the study to men - she did not do so but developed and helped set up men Bible study leaders who created a men's Bible Study that met at separate times from the Women's Bible Study Fellowship.

I don't know if any of these men were ever fortunate enough to get to study direclty under Anne's leadership - but I do know several who told me they wanted to do so.

Again, Anne has attempted to be scrupulously faithful to God's Word (which she holds to be the innerant Word of God) and especially to the calling of being a vessel through which God's Spirit can reach others with the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The speaking on the sin of homosexuality has not been a primary message of her Bible Teaching - but it is a subject which any true Bible teacher cannot ignore, since God's Word does not ignore it.....much like the Bible does not ignore other sins. It is simply ONE of many sins that are addressed specifically in God's Word.

Your attempt to trash Anne Graham Lotz puts you on the side of those who would persecute good and Godly people who are being used mightily by the God you claim to know to reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Don't you understand how blessed are those who bring the Good News of Jesus to the world?????

The lives of thousands of women in the Raleigh area have been transformed by this dedicated woman's Bible Teaching leadership - and through them - their husbands, families, communities, and businesses. But, if you asked Anne Lotz, she would say - she is only a vessel - and He is the Treasure that has transformed and blessed the lives of thousands!!!! in OUR AREA!

Jeremiah 16:19 O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.

And Malachi, in the last chapter states...

Malachi 4

The Great Day of God

The Coming Day of the LORD
1 "For behold, the day is coming,
        Burning like an oven,
And all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble.
And the day which is coming shall burn them up,"
        Says the LORD of hosts,
"That will leave them neither root nor branch.
2But to you who fear My name
The Sun of Righteousness shall arise
        With healing in His wings;
        And you shall go out
And grow fat like stall-fed calves.
        3You shall trample the wicked,
For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet
On the day that I do this,"
        Says the LORD of hosts.

4"Remember the Law of Moses, My servant,
Which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel,
        With the statutes and judgments.
5Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet
Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD.
        6And he will turn
The hearts of the fathers to the children,
And the hearts of the children to their fathers,
Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse."

I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.
Matthew 13:35

Luke 15
11 Then He said: "A certain man had two sons. 12And the younger of them said to his father, "Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me.' So he divided to them his livelihood. 13And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, journeyed to a far country, and there wasted his possessions with prodigal living. 14But when he had spent all, there arose a severe famine in that land, and he began to be in want. 15Then he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. 16And he would gladly have filled his stomach with the pods that the swine ate, and no one gave him anything.
17"But when he came to himself, he said, "How many of my father's hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, "Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, 19and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants."'
20"And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. 21And the son said to him, "Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.'
22"But the father said to his servants, "Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet. 23And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry; 24for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.' And they began to be merry.
25"Now his older son was in the field. And as he came and drew near to the house, he heard music and dancing. 26So he called one of the servants and asked what these things meant. 27And he said to him, "Your brother has come, and because he has received him safe and sound, your father has killed the fatted calf.'
28"But he was angry and would not go in. Therefore his father came out and pleaded with him. 29So he answered and said to his father, "Lo, these many years I have been serving you; I never transgressed your commandment at any time; and yet you never gave me a young goat, that I might make merry with my friends. 30But as soon as this son of yours came, who has devoured your livelihood with harlots, you killed the fatted calf for him.'
31"And he said to him, "Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours. 32It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found."'

Jeremiah 3:14
14 "Return, O backsliding children," says the LORD; "for I am married to you. I will take you, one from a city and two from a family, and I will bring you to Zion. 15 And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.

Return, rebellious children, says the LORD,

Return to Torah

Fathers, Jews

Children, Christians

Harlots, the teachings of Jezebel

Return to Torah!

Has nothing to do with the culture. It has everything to do with satan convincing people that they are smarter and their philosophies belong in the covenant. People have been sold a bill of goods with regards to religion posing as Christianity. God authored and delivered the covenant for us to accept or reject on HIS terms, not for us to add our own terms to it and correct His work - as though it's our place to tell our creator how it should be.

What we are seeing is not new. These ideas have been floating about since the days of the apostles. Catholicism has held to these false notions from their earliest known date of existence in the mid 400s ad. And what you see in Protestantism is the same stance on philosophy being applied. Philosophy and scripture do not belong any where near one another. And Prots and Catholics alike prove daily that if there is a conflict between the two, philosophy always wins - thusly philosophy is the master. And it is the reason that until recent times, if you asked a Catholic if they were christian, they'd say 'no, I'm catholic'. Catholics follow centuries of philosophy; but, since the incept of ecumenism, they want everyone to call them christians now. Just as protestants following philosophy would say they are christians. If they are christians, then Jesus word would always win rather than that of their prized philosophers. God's word is life, Men's words are worthless on that measure.

Good News For The Day

‘Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary, and lose heart. In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood.’ (Hebrews 12:3+4)

"Have you observed that when someone has a reputation for being 'good', that person is subjected to a more rigorous public scrutiny. When a well-known cheat is caught out at his old tricks, not much is made of it; no better was expected. But of a civic leader is booked for driving under the influence, or if a clergyman is discovered to be having an affair, the matter is loudly noised abroad."

"There are those in the media, who make it their business to sniff out, and expose the indiscretions of anyone who normally enjoys a high degree of respect. The longer any individual is able to stand against the general human weakness; set new standards of conduct; refuse to be seduced by the manifold rewards of giving in to the mediocre mainstream, the greater is the build-up of pressure for that person to fail."

"Evil is offended by good. This was certainly so with Christ. His detractors eventually brought violence to bear against him. In Pilgrim's progress, one of the jurymen in the courtroom is... Mr. Live--Loose. He condemns Faithful, and wants to put him to death because, "He would always be condemning my way."

"To be the exceptional person that Jesus was, meant for him the enduring of a great deal more than I have ever endured by way of temptation. He felt the tuggings and buffetings of evil more than others because he never gave in to them. His victory over sin was magnificent; it was grand; it was unique-and by it, he championed and lifted the rest of us. Thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."
