Hint: this includes the gay lifestyle...

Hint: this shows you know nothing about 'the living Holy Spirit'.

Women were evangelists in the Bible. They were not allowed to lead churches.

That's right. Authority always lines up: G-d to man to woman. Women in church leadership positions over men is sinful. Priscilla also taught Apollos, but under the authority of her husband, Aquila.

And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.Acts 18:26

Would you be so kind as to point out the verse that led you to that conclusion (ie. women in church leadership is sinful)?

Basically I believe--think...God created potential will---'free will' isn't possible until one accepts GOD/TRUTH--Jesus Christ!

Before enlightenment--salvation...only religion--ideology--bias(cultural) predominates!

Thank you for your comments.

Note Aquila and Prisilla were discipling Apollos, they weren't evangelizing him.

I haven't the slightest idea what you are talking about. No where did I say under the right circumstances they could not teach.

The line of authority is taught from Genesis to Revelations, but here's one: But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 1 Ti 2:12

Under authority, they can evangelize, teach and definitely prophesy. What they can't do is usurp authority. G-d doesn't respect the line of authority within Christian community that goes directly from G-d to woman, omitting the man.

Examples of women's evangelizing in the New Testament are found in Phl. 4:3:

And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.

2098 euaggelion {yoo-ang-ghel'-ee-on}

from the same as 2097; TDNT - 2:721,267; n n

AV - gospel 46, gospel of Christ 11, gospel of God 7, gospel of the Kingdom 3, misc 10; 77

1) a reward for good tidings
2) good tidings
2a) the glad tidings of the kingdom of God soon to be set up, and subsequently also of Jesus the Messiah, the founder of this kingdom. After the death of Christ, the term comprises also the preaching of (concerning) Jesus Christ as having suffered death on the cross to procure eternal salvation for the men in the kingdom of God, but as restored to life and exalted to the right hand of God in heaven, thence to return in majesty to consummate the kingdom of God
2b) the glad tidings of salvation through Christ
2c) the proclamation of the grace of God manifest and pledged in Christ

I should rephrase the above to be: under authority within the ecclesia. What I posted above is incorrect in that it makes it sound like a woman can't prophesy or witness to someone without a man around. She cannot usurp the authority in the ecclesia, or called out body of believers.

Rather than get into a discussion regarding "free will" and what "free will" is, I'll just state that whatevery term you use, people were given the right of choice between sin and not sinning. They still are. People can choose to knowingly sin, or they can choose to avoid sinning as much as possible.

The current is strong...the water is deep---waves hit the rocks--reef...who will guide--propell my ship--soul?

Some people are ice skating.

I know of a guy who drowned under a bridge because the road salts had melted the ice.

Always something new to learn...think about---maybe!

u·surp (y-sûrp, -zûrp) v. u·surped, u·surp·ing, u·surps To seize and hold (the power or rights of another, for example) by force and without legal authority. To take over or occupy without right: usurp a neighbor's land. To seize another's place, authority, or possession wrongfully.

I could certainly understand how God would be upset with a woman "usurping" a rightfully placed man from a position of authority (and probably any man that tries the same thing too), but are you saying that God could never place a woman in a position of authority over a man in spiritual matters?

The Bible states a women is not to have rule over a man.

....if that is true, then why did GOD make mothers?
