I am not talking to you about Jack Thompson now, and there's quite a difference between you BEGGING me to comment on your thread (which you did, I still have the FReemails, then you had my posts pulled when you did not like the fact that I didn't agree with you) and my saying that when you post a thread/article, not only will I freely comment on it, but I will direct those comments at you.

And you can ask me to stop "pinging" you 3,000 times. You post articles, I will comment to you on the article you posted, freely, and whenever I wish.

That, dear lady, is the basis of FreeRepublic.

Thank you for the Ping. What can I say, as a Christian, I cannot support anyone who condones pedophilia.

But I am affraid we are judging a person from another nation (which is post-Christian at best), with values that you can easily espouse from this side of the Atlantic. The real reason the Dutch press didn't challenge Pim Fortuyn on his stand on Pedophilia is that much of Holland probably agrees with him. That country's values are so warped and the difference between good and evil is so blurred that people don't even realize what they are doing. I believe Christ asked the father to forgive them for they do not know what they are doing.
I grew up over there and I had a rude awakening when I immigrated to this country and I had to question all I had believed. For example I was convinced that evolution was the truth and never considered taking the Biblical account of creation literally.
From his account he was a victim of child rape and he didn't even consider that this was not supposed to happen to him, so he justified it in his own mind and how do you know if no one tells you? What do you mean 10 commandments? I thought they were the 10 suggestions?

Pim was misguided, but I don't think he was evil.
But only God knows his heart and I would not want to judge him from afar and after his death.
You run the risk of justifying his death like he got what he deserved.
Christ died for sinners like him ....and me.

For the 4th time - please do not ping me again. I am not interested in Jack Thompson. Just as Gov Bush does not want people using his name falsely, and deceptively, I do not want you pinging me to Jack Thompson rubbish in order to pretend to others that I am interested in him. I am not. And, you know what I mean. You also knew that he had plenty of time to post and respond to those two FR posters on that thread questioning him, and he was not banned at that time. You are telling lies. Over and over. And, because of your flame war on my 3rd part of the Jeb series, I almost stopped writing that series. Thankfully, I did not. A major newspaper wanted to publish one of my essays, but it was already posted here on a web site, and so they could not. But, if I ever leave here because you harass the h*ll out of me, I assure you I already have people who would like to publish what I write about the actual record of Gov Bush - a subject you clearly know nothing about nor care about. Good for you.

Demi, that's not the only quote in the article. You must have forgotten to look at this one:
The column concludes: "The law philosopher and paedophile [Edward] Brongersma, for years senator of the Labour party, spent his life campaigning for understanding of the paedophile fellow man. He launched this effort fearlessly after serving a sentence for sexual harassment of a minor. The minor in question had not considered it harassment, but the justice department judged otherwise in the 1950s.

"In the 1970s and 1980s, Brongersma slowly but surely gained ground. After the invention of the Pill came sexual liberation. Gay sex became accepted, and why then should paedo sex not be allowed ? under the strict condition that the child is willing and that there is no coercion? This enlightened point of view has meanwhile been abandoned, and under the influence of the ologists, the child is defined as totally devoid of sexual desires, at least where adults are concerned.

"We are far removed from the understanding that Brongersma tried to foster, to our own detriment, for that matter. For everything which can be discussed is in principle also manageable, one would think!"

And you really think they know here? Ol' Br. Falwell thought there was a moral majority here, too. What he discovered was a voting populace.

He was a supporter of Israel and against the Muslims this pedophilia crap was a hatchet job the reason they are running it now that he is dead is because he would have refuted it if alive now that he is a martyr they try to smear him with the boy buggerer label... pathetic.

In other words, because he was a supporter of Israel he couldn't have been a bad person. That's not a very logical stance.

"PIM Fortuyn, the charismatic right-wing Dutch politician murdered last week was a powerful advocate or paedophilia"

This needs to be read. Fortuyn was evil, no conservative should support him just because he favored the free market.

Yeesh! If any of this is true, I find it a bit ironic he was killed by an animal rights wacko.

I always knew that Fortuyn was a homosexual activist--poles apart from a socially conservative Christian like me. (I didn't know about the pedophila, however, and maybe I still don't.)

However, he was right about the muslim "immigrants", and their threat to freedom and any form of Western culture (whether Christian, loopy "libertarian" like Fortuyn, or anything else).

It's beyond me how the leftists always stick up for the muslims--after strong Christians (especially Serbian ones) and Jews, the islamists hate leftists the worst! Among Westerners, only the New World Order elitists and their operatives benefit from unlimited muslim immigration and from muslim expansionism. All the rest of us LOSE BIG!!!! The leftists must have a suicide complex!

I know. We are getting close to that post-Christian era here in the US.
Look at how social Conservatives are demonized nowadays.
Soon no one will dare to speak up against abortion, Euthanesia, etc.
Here in Oregon we have arrived at that critical point. It is the kiss of death for a poliitician, if he/she is pro-life.
