In the clearest sign yet that Democrats intend to make political hay over the news that President Bush received a pre-9-11 CIA warning about possible al Qaeda airline hijackings, New York Sen. Hillary Clinton suggested Thursday that it was time for the White House to come clean.
"Clearly the public demands answers immediately," she told reporters, adding, "The people of New York deserve those answers more than anyone."
Clinton complained that the Bush administration had taken over eight months reveal the CIA briefing, and advised that the Bush administration should release all relevant information without further delay.
"I believe that getting the facts out would be the very best response to this troubling news," she urged.
Mrs. Clinton wasn't asked about claims from former officials of her husband's administration who have told reporters that he ignored repeated warnings of al Qaeda terrorist activity against the U.S., including a 1995 plot to hijack a dozen airliners and crash them into U.S. office buildings. I would ask Hil how much of the FBI and CIA were left-overs from the Clinton administration in that it would seem that these career spooks should have been the ones that put two and two together. And how well manned were these staffs.

Hey, Hil, why don't you tell Bubba to explain the heads up he got in 1998 when he was busy getting hummers under the desk? You know the one who shares a house with you in NY and has office space in the Bronx? Yeah, that one.

I was wondering what took her so long. This requires a counter attack of the highest order. There has to be a way to get the Newsmax story to the main stream press. The Bush administration needs start playing offense and get just as down and dirty as the rats.

Mrs. Clinton declined to answer the un-asked question from friendly repoters:
"Does your hubby regret not taking Sudan's offer to turn bin Laden over to the US on or about 1996?"

Here it is, folks. This is going to be her springboard for '04. You watch...she will start her listening tour soon. The listening tour will result in...drumroll..."we don't trust George Bush because he 'let' innocent NYer's die", "he knew and didn't tell us, but we can trust the great Hitlery". Then, Hitlery will say, "Well, golly gee! I guess I should run against that mean man who wants to kill NYers..."
I feel the bile coming up right now....HHHHHUUUURRRRRLLLLL!

What you're hearing is a collective Democrat gasping "at last! We've got something we can twist to make Bush look bad!" I'd dearly love to hear him answer "well, Hill, it depends on what the meaning of 'is' is..."
