Bush has always treated the Clinton White House with great restraint and respect, taking the moral high ground. The problem is that folks who have taken the low road - Bill and the Dems - merely see that as a sign of weakness, and they attack. Unfortunately, because they are supported by the press, their trivial attack turns into a sonic boom.
That said, I think that if just a few crucial words are dropped about looking into the many warnings received and ignored before Bush took office, this will stop immediately.
