Aside from my personal disgust at the Democrats for trying to politicize this, the fact that Bush had an action plan against Al-Qaeda on his desk has been known for some time.
Indeed, it speaks well of the Administration staff that they took Bin Laden seriously, after years of neglect.
Watching liberals do the usual thing is to be expected; however, I'm particularly incensced at Michael Savage, who besides calling for Rice's resignation, is claiming that we should have known that AQ would be using planes as missiles.
Savage is usually a lot better than he has been tonight.

Chris

I think everything has been explained, you don't publicize an NSA Presidential Directive unless you are serious about getting the facts out.

By this evening everyone was backing off of blaming the President........backing WAY OFF! I take it you didn't see Chris Matthews spew tonight.

. I wish they would instead devote their energies to something like publicly supporting our military and their families, and thinking up ways to make life a little easier for those families now separated by this war. That would be constructive and of interest. Doing anything constructive is anathema to the demoroids.

Glad they had a game plan to stop al-queda while clinton wouldn't. Too bad they don't have a game plan to stop these corrupt clintonites, but, chose to leave them in power where they continue the destruction. I'll bet the President is wishing he'd given Ashcroft the thumbs up on prosecution.

Re your post #11 --
Witness the article today quoting relatives of dead WTC people bemoaning the President and Administration for not issuing a public warning etc.
And, what I wish I could tell these Dem leaders is this: Do you really think these people, above, should be hurting more than they already do? Really?

Meant the congress-creeps. Matthews is a piece of garbage with no influence.
I did see a bit of G.Gordon Liddy tho.....not that Matthews listened.

And then John King defends his propaganda by saying that in the end the people responsible for 9/11 are the Terrorist.

I'll bet the President is wishing he'd given Ashcroft the thumbs up on prosecution. If The Demorats keep it up, he may have second thoughts.

I have to admit, political jiujitsu might be the only thing the Dems have left.
Yeah, but that strategy is so transparent and uninspiring. They are just sticking their collective feet in their collective mouths. It is not an impressive strategy to voters, IMO.

I take it you didn't see Chris Matthews spew tonight. The few minutes I saw before risking losing my supper had Matthewa and Toricelli having simultaneous liberal orgasms engaging in a verbal circle jerk over this topic.
You remember Toricelli, who screwed up the CIA's humintel network by forbidding them from hiring "undesirables" in order to suck up to his marxist then-girlfriend Bianca Jagger. Demoroids are all walking, talking pieces of garbage.

Good point, this is just the trial balloon of the day. The white house needs to knock this one down before it has legs. piaps is already spewing about standing up for the people of NY.
