Don't you remember how Jesus convinced Mary Magdelene to change her ways? And she did it rather than continue to follow her own path to self-destruction. The school gave the mother a chance. She rejected it.

Yeh, so they expel the child three weeks before the end of the term. Beautiful example of Christian mercy and forbearance. A rational person would have not wanted to loose the chance to influence the mom. This is just some tight asses indulging themselves. Real Christians would have jumped on this oportunity like a dog on a bone.

EXACTLY!! I was talking with someone in the office about this yesterday. Their argument is that the mother is doing nothing wrong Biblically. I brought up Mary Magdalene and asked did she continue doing what she was doing after she met Christ. The answer, 'Well no but that was different'. Except for the physical presence of Christ, exactly how is it different. The mother is in the wrong, the school offered a way out, she didn't take it. Mind you, I would have waited until the end of the school year to expel the girl but she still would have been expelled
