Friend, strippers do do it for the money, but it's so they can buy cocaine. The vast majority of them are coke heads.

And very few of them report their "cash" tips as income to the IRS! And the IRS doesn't do anything to the club owners who under report all the time.

OK, I usually don't post to threads like this, however this statement right here caught my attention.

Do you, personally, know ANY strippers? Do you have friends that know any strippers personally?

Well, I do. And the funny thing is, NONE of them are on crack/coke/extacy/etc! And come to think of it, they are *gasp* really using the money to pay for their college educations! To large, expensive ones that their parents couldn't pay for, and neither could they.

So, instead of begging the government for money to send them through college, or being in debt up to their eyeballs in student loans, they used a resource that they already had, and decided to make money LEGALLY by being an exotic dancer.

Now we have a mother, obviously divorced or a single mom. Instead of being on welfare and/or harassing her daughter's dad for money, she dances for the 3 nights a week that her little girl is with her dad (says the mom).

Let's see...making her own money...kid's not home when she goes to the club...helps provide her kid a better life...she gets to be a stay-at-home mom...

Then you don't even know what type of extablishment she works for. Could be a sleazy crackhouse type of strip bar, but I'm willing to bet it's not a full-nude club, perhaps it's even a gown club or a Gentleman's Club.

Let's throw this one out, just for discussion. Let's say she quits being a stripper, goes down to the local assistance office, and gets food stamps/welfare/etc. Happy now? I'm willing to bet that you'd be doing the same amount of whining.

Put me down as: one more for the mom.
