You're right. Graham scares me because I'm one of his constituents and this is as close to moderate as he has ever gotten.

Could it be that he is beginning to realize that his state, Florida, is going more and more conservative.

Our local supervisor of elections has said outright that the most business that passes through their office is people registering Republican (and those switching to Republican). Our state legislatue has a Republican majority.

I think Graham's "core beliefs" become more and more conservative as the day of his running for re-election (or another shot as governor) approaches.

Graham's family once owned the entire northwest corner of Dade County. Bobby made a fortune developing Miami Lakes, Country Club of Miami and the part of Hialeah that was on his ranch land.

Hey there, fellow Floridian! :-) When I read that report this morning I thought, "Bob Graham KNOWS he's in trouble, and he is backpeddling faster than a golfer who's ball landed in a Florida swamp." I do believe that if the Dems keep this up (do it do it!) we will win back the Senate in November. I am sick to damn death of the slimey games they play in DC and I am ready for all those rats to be swept out as soon as POSSIBLE. !!!! ;-) Deej
