I wouldn't exactly call this a vanity, Laz. You're merely repeating a know fact. One of the things about 9/11 that amazed investigators was the operational security maintained by Al Qaeda. There was zero communications traffic about the attack. We knew that they were "up to something"; but then again, they were always "up to something"! If there is blame anywhere within the government, it lies with the Clintonistas. Had they accepted the Somalies offer to hand over bin Laden, 9/11 might not have occured.

Actually -- as horrible a person as Clinton is, and as negligent as he was to not take bin Ladin -- even without bin Ladin, this might have happened. The wheels were set in motion in 1995, immediately after the failed WTC bombing.
