Calling it the 'modern day version of Underoos' a national clothing company is selling thong underwear in children's sizes -with the words 'eye candy' and 'wink wink' printed on the front.
Abercrombie and Fitch, the same retailer that enraged paerents last year with a summer catalogue of teenage looking models groping each other in the nude, now offers several varities of the thongs at its Abercrombie stores, the division of the company for children 7 to 14 years old.
'It's cute and fun and sweet,' said Hampton Carey spokesman for the company based in New Albany Ohio.
But some parents are far from tickled.
In fact they are outraged.
'I think of myself as fairly hip, and I think it is just disgusting,' said Julie McNamara a 40 year old mother from White Fish Bay.

-with the words 'eye candy' and 'wink wink' printed on the frontI guess "perv" and "jail bait" printed on the front didn't go over as well with the focus groups.
what are we doing to our poor kids.....thongs for 7-yr-olds? why can't we let our kids be kids? lord knows they grow up fast enough as it is...

Dental floss has been on the market for years and there have been no complaints about age restrictions.

'It's cute and fun and sweet,' said Hampton Carey spokesman for the company based in New Albany Ohio. Yes but would your priest approve?

I have a beef with marketing that overtly sexual crap to little kids as well. I have been ranting about this for over a year now....

Perhaps 'Crack Whore' would be more to the liking of parents who dress their kids this way.

I have less of a problem with somebody selling this stuff than I have with the fact that somebody is willing to buy it.
Why is there a market?

Great beach wear for sending your daughter to a girl scout camp with lesbian leaders.

Thongs for 7-year olds with the words "eye-candy" and "wink wink". WHAT? These people are producing a product that encourages child molestation and rape. Enough said!
