Isn't John Edwards on the Intelligence committee?

"Mrs. Feinstein, California DemoRAT and Senate committee member, said yesterday she did not know anything specific, but that [the leak] stemmed from a "deep sense of foreboding" that [an a$$-whooping of cosmic proportions of DemoRAT candidates in the fall] was imminent."
Corrected version.

"There is concern a leak occurred," said Sen. Jon Kyl, Arizona Republican and Intelligence Committee member, who said there is a lot of speculation about whether the source was Congress or the administration. "I would like to think the appropriate people should investigate the source of the leaks." I couldn't help but notice how early in the morning Gephardt and Dashole went into their attack mode ..
Hummmm .. they get an advance warning
And if there is a Republican involved also ... then throw his butt off that committee too

One House Democratic aide with knowledge of both the committee's and the president's briefing from Aug. 7 There's a high ranking source. Barney Frank's shampoo boy? If I were an editor, I'd never let information or quotes from an unattributed source make the final copy. If the source won't permit attribution, the information is suspect. The Clinton disinformation machine fed all manner of bullcrap through their agents by "veteran GOP strategists" (David Gergen and Frank Luntz) or "senior official close to Speaker Gingrich" (Dave Bonior) or the tried and true "lawyers familiar with the Independent Council report"(Lanny Davis and Geraldo Rivera).

"One Democratic aide, with knowledge of both the committee's and the President's briefing "!!!! How in the heck, is a Democratic aide going to know what went on, in a top security briefing to the President ?? Ari kept saying at this week's press conferences ,that he was not privy to the President's briefings, but an anonymous Democrat aide somehow knows what was told to the President!

Senator Dianne Feinstein said on July 1, 2001, on the Wolf Blitzer show that she had been told that a major attack on the United States could be expected in the next three months." Mrs. Feinstein, California Democrat and Senate committee member, said yesterday [5/17/02] she did not know anything specific, but that her remarks stemmed from a "deep sense of foreboding" that an attack was imminent.
I guess it was the Ghost of Elenor Roosevelt that told Di-Fi.

"There is really nothing to leak. There is no story to this. The real story is the FBI's failure to provide the president and intelligence community with adequate information," Mr. Shelby said. the real story is that the Democrats gutted the intelligence agency's budgets for 30 years to the point where they couldn't even properly recruit from top universities and are still running on 80486 computers rather than current systems, etc. The real story is that the defense intelligence agencies don't even have arab speaking agents that can decifer arabic language intelligence information and have been sending raw intelligence to outside agencies for translation. This is the known state of affairs. And the Democrats are directly responsible for it. The Republican party should be out there campaigning on this truth. The Democrats wouldn't have a chance against it.
