Suggestion: If a post is pulled, the posts that directly respond to it should be pulled too.

These threads that self destruct bring to mind Mission Impossible. Except that the tapes in "Mission: Impossible" always self-destructed. This thread...is....still...here.
To: ArneFufkin
LOL Arne, want me to pull your earlier comment? :-D
To: Admin Moderator
No, no one will be surprised. ;^)
To: Admin Moderator
LOL Arne, want me to pull your earlier comment? This thread will self destruct in 5 minutes.
Why his comment? You're the one that stated that this thread will self destruct in 5 minutes. And you have the power.
So do it. Gehead, gehead...do it. Pull the trigger!!
To: Bloody Sam Roberts
"Why his comment?"Because his comment that "now if this thread doesn't get pulled, won't I be the ass" made it sound as if he wanted it retracted!

Actually, I have another request. I am out in the boonies with very poor phone lines and a questionable ISP,, my request:
Could you provide a way for us to delete items in the "Posts to You"? I get lots of pings and it takes so long for this feature to download when I attempt to use it, it occasionally times out and other times I get a disconnect. If there is a way to delete some of these posts, I am unaware of it,,,. Any suggestions? Getting a different ISP is not the answer. I have been thru several and have settled with the best of the worst.

...and besides, the forum hasn't had a good old-fashioned rip-the-moderators thread in a long time I am not ripping the moderators. I am the nicest guy you will find. If I was wearing a tie that you liked, I would take it off and give it to you (and that was not plagarised from the Catcher in The Rye). :)

Did this thread really self-destruct?Yes it did but you had to be logged-on to see it. What beautiful colors, such spectacular array of bomb bursts in the air and the sound effects were just short of amazing. Can't wait till the next "self-destruct"..............

25 Comments and no one has said cheese yet? Sheesh, this place is slipping.
But, "having my baby" is a tolerable substitute!
To: Iowa Granny
That's a change that has been suggested before and is on John's to-do list.

While you are answering questions, could you answer this one? A certain poster claimed on a certain thread that he could trace other posters' IP addresses when they posted. Is this true or not?

I'm sure you believe your assertion to be true....Yes, I do most certainly believe my assertion, that if there was favoritism or inconsistency by the moderators Jim would be see it and not accept it, to be true.
