Bump - short for Bump To The Top (BTTT). I use bump when I agree with the comments another Freeper has posted. Also used to push a reply or article to the top of the "Latest Posts" page for others to see.
Ping - a way to inform someone of a reply or article that may be of interest to them (also has the effect of BTTT).
