OK but we're in Afghanistan now. A good chunk of alqaeda and taliban went to Pakistan and Kashmir. All parties are prepared. Do it before the Monsoon arrives. Clean up Pakistan and now you have a border with Iran.
It is a interesting fact that we knew long ago that Iran was going to become a strategic pain in the butt. We supported Saddam back in those days, in order to control the problem. Saddam then stuck it to us and invaded Kuwait.
If he had not done so and continued his war with Iran, I believe the picture would be alot different today. That is why I still believe that no win can be achieved without cutting off the head of the snake. The ripples off that would be felt throughout Islam and perhaps a global war against Islam could be avoided.
