For a Christian, neither India nor Pakistan have been pleasant places to be, recently. Hindu militants have killed priests, raped nuns and desecrated churches, just as Islamic militants have done in Pakistan.
However, militant Hinduism is not the same threat to the west that militant Islam is, thus our inclination to make India the "good guys". I have a feeling that if this escalates, there will be carnage on both sides.
to the people who think that the world is in a dangerous place today then wait until after India slaps down the Paki's. That will be glorious for the islamic wackos and will be seen as a golden chance for using Pakistan's nukes against the West and India and Russia.
It's ludicrous to rank Hindus anywhere close to Muslim theocracies for pure destructivness in rabid extremism. Does India forbid bibles on pain of death?
