Urgent! Baltimore Rally to Oppose Maryland State School Board from add "Sexual Orientation" to "Education that is Multi-Cultural" Code as a "diversity factor" and mandate teaching pro-homosexuality in "K-12 grade classrooms."
Rally to begin Tuesday 5-21-02 at 2:30 PM prior to Hearing. This grade school education nightmare has already occurred in California, and if we are to stop this in Maryland as well as other states in the near future, we need everyone's support including attendance, if possible, e-mailing, writing, calling both the School Board and State Representatives and getting local religious bodies involved and notifying the public and media.

She went crying to her friends on the State Board, and they went to their friends who constitute the corrupt Glenndenning Administration, and the next thing you know the State Legislature voted to rescind the authorization law for an elected schol board in Prince George's County.
At that time none of us had any idea that the entire State School Board and the corrupt Glenndenning Administration had been taken over by militant lesbians and homosexuals, but it looks like it's true.
Frankly, I thought they were just into stealing and looting, which made the whole PG County issue a total mystery.

George Washington is being taken out of the curriculum, and homosexuality is added. The recent survey that found high schoolers don't know anything about history is proof that the liberals are succeeding in advancing their agenda. It's sick.
When I hear speech about "moral obligations," I remind myself of the moderating virtue of prudence (Fortitude, Temperance, Prudence, Justice, Faith, Hope, Charity). In this instance, it would tell us to flee Sodom without looking back.
The fight is over. It has been for a long time. Your are responsible for your own children first and returning to a battlefield with no hope of success is neither virtuous nor morally obligatory.
The Curriculum is just the Flag of the enemy waving over the turf they now own. Even if you do decide to fight, they will keep you on the sidelines. There are no allies on the other side. Remember, to Administrators and Teachers (generally speaking) parents are the enemy.

My lifestyle choice is more of the Couch Potato Culture....with a little yoga & NordicTrack on the side....and I'd wager there are a LOT of Couch Potatos out there making it as much of a culture as homosexuality.
Total diversity multi-cultural BS.
One aspect is that this "Diversity" and "Multiculturalism" is a farce. It is nothing more than a form of secular humanism, for its goal is to break down the culture and value system of America.
As a substitute teacher, this nonsense, minus the pro-gay, is all throughout the textbooks. Multiculturalism, Diversity, Secular Humanism, Historical Revisionism, Junk Science, Environmentalism, etc. are all shown.
Parents need to be more involved, and if it includes conducting a large march or rally of thousands, it needs to be done. I also think that parents should be more active on school boards and school councils. The only other alternative, as a previous poster stated, is to remove your child from the public schools and homeschool them or place them in a private school, preferably Christian.
The schools have this idea that all of the above will turn out nice, respectful children who will love and hug everyone and all will be well with the world and due to their efforts, Utopia will envelope the earth.
For all the warm fuzzies taught, more and more kids are turning out mean as snakes, talk trash that'd make a sailor blush and think that work is arranged around parties. I am so sick of getting anywhere near kids in their teens and twenties and hearing the "F" word constantly. Yet for me to speak up would infringe on their freedom of speech, nevermind that I'm offended (oh, yeah I forgot - I'm a white conservative Christian woman and I don't count).
Home schooling's looking better and better everyday.
