Wait a minute. She's paying 400 bucks a month to put her kid in KINDERGARTEN? I have never seen the kindergarten class worth 100 bucks a week. That's not a bad price for 1 through 8, but kindergarten? Kids don't learn much at all in kindergarten. Not only is she a skank, she's a spendthrift. (And that school's got a real nice racket.)

The school is based on a lovely campus complete with all the amenities a student could hope for. They use an accelerated curriculum known as Abeka, which is pricey for homeschoolers as well as private schoolers...but is a fantastic curriculum.

I think $400 is outrageous for kindergarten too...but it may include day care fees. I'll be calling the school Monday to inquire about costs since it's not on their website, and get back to the thread with more info.

The private Christian school my daughter attended in k-garten and half of 1st grade was $175 per month.

She's obviously got money from somewhere --maybe generous child support? How much do silicone implants cost and usually insurance doesn't cover that kind of surgery.
