If the next attack, when it comes, involves any middle-easterners admitted after 9-11, the President should be impeached. Unfortunately, there will be almost no one available to impeach him, since the Congress is just as guilty of not changing our insane immigration practices.

I am still trying to breath again after finding out that as of two months ago 50,000 more visa's had been issued to people from terrorist countries just since 9-11.

the political correct police that rules the demonrats would have cried like babies prior to 9-11 if a warning about possible attacks by islam terrorists, after all, we dont want to offend anyone. Even today airport screeners have to treat old men and grandmothers like potential criminals rather than focus on what we all know wil be the next batch of killers: young arab men.

This much we know:

Not enough FBI resources were arrayed against Islamic terrorists pre-9-11 because their main focus was on "anti-government" right wingers, gun rights activists, constitutionalists, anti-abortion groups, and other non-PC elements. For whatever reason, Bush did not clean out the FBI house quickly enough of Clintonites and reset the priorities of this agency to apprehending the true enemies of this country.

The only thing that would have stopped 9-11 was greatly increased profiling of ME types at airports and much more restrictive issue of visas, student and otherwise, to people from the Islamic nations. To his great discredit, Bush has still not implemented ME profiling at airports and has kept an incompetent Democrat in charge of Transportation.
