Getting kicked out of kindergarten isn't easy. A child would have to do something truly awful, right?
Not necessarily. A 5-year-old girl last week didn't have to do a thing. Her mother did it for her.
Or rather, her mother's job did it. Christina Silvas, a 24-year-old single mom, works as an adult dancer in Sacramento, Calif. She does it for the money.

That said, let me spill my dime on this issue. I think the church has a right to do what they are doing. The church as I understand has tried to work with her to try to help her find another "clothing" job. So I would commend them for that.
I understand that the woman has quit her job for 3 months to try to look for other employment so her kid can finish school and will enroll her kid in another school in the fall(article in sacramento bee). But the woman has not ruled out returning to nude dancing. So I think the church has done all it can do on this. The church sounds a bit more conservative than myself but thats their right. I'm sure that there are other private schools she could send her kid to. Some schools have strict rules and other schools only rule is that your check doesn't bounce. Good luck to her and good luck to the school. May they both see God's will for their lives and follow it. And thats all I got to say about it !
First, the Mom is rebellious to God's will by rationalizing temptation of sexual lust in return for worshipping money,....then it's for the 'child',,,,but never for God.
Secondly, there will arise those who place the State before God and will phrase the predicament as one wherein the school gains its authority from the State first, then from God if they choose and whatever god is irrevelvant. Again this promotes the schemes of Satan to become ruler of all and sit independant of God's authority.
Thirdly, If the school is approved by the State in their action, there will come those who insist the child must be removed from the mother. Again, an attack on a God given institution of parental authority and appeal to the State over God.
Fourth, on top of it all, there will be those who then will blame Christians who follow Christ and claim the child is needlessly suffering because of the school's decision to follow God's will. Thereby encouraging temptation to act independently of God's will and attempting to display success in rebellion to God.
Amazingly, all of this is defeated by simple obedience to His will. For those who see nothing wrong with the divrcee out there stripping, consider how far these ramifications continue.
Mitch, I saw this gentleman interviewed on O'Reilly. He DID what you counsel him to do. Is it even semi-important to be conversant with the important facts before you write a column that counsels he first do what he has already done?
A) The Mother
B) The Church,
C) The Church founded School
D) The State
E) The Employer of the Mother
F) Folks who encourage the Mother to remain her course
G) Folks who encourage the Mother to change.
I'd opt for A).
If there was ever a CHILD who desperately needs to be around Christians, it is this child.
If you are suffering said fatigue, why are you adding to it with another stripper mom article?
The possibilities are topless....I mean endless.
Uh...Ummmmmm....because..I am a compassionate conservative..yeah yeah...thats it ...LOL.
Then again, so is Britney Spears, who claims to be a devout Christian and a virgin to boot.
There you have it! WWBSD
(even if they were thigh-high boots)
While I don't agree with the mothers occupation, at least she is spending the money she earns putting her child through private school - perhaps giving her the start in life that she didn't have.
I bet any baker would love to sell StripperMom(TM) hot crossed buns.
