RAWALAKOT, May 20 (PNS): Indian army is learnt to have increased its movement on the Line of Control and working boundary, as tension between the two nuclear capable states reached at its peak after India expelled Pakistan High Commissioner to India on Saturday.
Eye witnesses and sources in Pak army informed PNS here on Sunday, that Indian army had intensified its war preparations on the LoC and other border areas, threatening regional peace and stability.
Sources said that Indian army also kept up its unprovoked firing and shelling on civilian areas, which crippled the routine matters of villagers.
A senior Pak army official informed that Pakistan armed forces had taken all defense measures in response to Indian aggressive move on the border and ready to foil any miscalculated move from Indian side.
Meanwhile, amid heightened tension, local administration of Rawalakot has alerted the police to meet any terrorist activity from Indian side.
Addressing a press conference, Superintendent Police, Sabir Hussain said that police had been directed to observe extra vigilant in their areas. In this regard, police on Sunday started checking the vehicles coming from border areas.
He maintained that a toll free number had also been installed, where residents could inform police about any suspected person or thing in their area.

Even as tension mounted on the border, Pakistan on Monday deployed its Shaheen missiles to deal with any eventuality, media reports said in Islamabad on Monday. Pakistani daily The Nation reported that the Shaheen missiles, with a range of 750 kilometers, had been sited in view of a possible attack by India.
Pakistan had informed major world powers, including the United States, that in case of any "provocative moves, Pakistani will use all options for security of the land. In this case, it will be an unlimited war".
