Whenever I read an article like this one, I call my kids. I've drilled them over and over about on line chats and the possible perves on the other end.
Isn't anyone telling these kids about the dangers of meeting with strangers? Her parents were divorced, so where was the liberal village to help this poor girl understand? Why weren't they there for her?

I could have given her some tips having met several people i know online, offline.

  • 1. Go in a group of 2 or more
  • 2. Meet in a public place and DO NOT LEAVE no matter what
  • 3. Bring a cell phone
  • 4. Cut off all contact with a person who suggests meeting in private.
