Anyone who would have kept the body hidden for some time would NOT have dumped her Sony Walkman with her weeks after

Why not? plenty of killers keep souveniers, maybe this one chickened out about keeping the walkman and dumped it.

I do think it was a murder though...

"I do think it was a murder though..."

And I would have to agree. Had she fallen out due to some unusual medical situation she wouldn't have been so off "the beaten path", IMHO.

My two cents of speculation...
Chandra receives word from Mr.X saying he works with/for her married lover and that he wants to meet her at/near that mansion at a specific time. Don't do anything to draw attention..just blend in and look like a typical jogger. No need for a cell phone either. Ms Levy trys to find Mr.X's name listed a website along with Condit. She also looks at info on this mansion as well as info on the paths within the park. At some point she exits her apartment with only her keys. Another specuation.. She went jogging to burn off nervous energy, something captures her attention up in the woods (a turtle perhaps) and while exploring something happens. end speculation

I hope ya'll don't mind me speculating here. So many people have said that, while Chandra did make some unwise choices, she was aware of the safety issues of running in DC. I can't help but feel that something caused her to let down her guard.

I hope that this sad discovery can at least give Dr. and Mrs. Levy some peace in finally being able to lay their daughter to rest, many parents never get that chance. My heart goes out to them.
