I read that the body was found on a slope.
Along with the body, there are probably plenty of other scents...bums sleeping and using the bushes for a bathroom, other animals dead and alive. plenty to shake things up. And if they didn't get to that area soon enough, dogs will need to be rested.... plenty of possibilities.

Yes, I understand the body was found on a steep slope in a densely wooded area. Doesn't sound much like a jogging path to me. Maybe I've watched too many 'On the case, Tuesdays' on Discovery; but, I believe statistics show that most (85%, I think) murders are committed by someone the victim knows. The fact that Chandra made computer searches of Condit's committees, Rock Creek Park, and specifically Klingle Mansion just prior to her disappearance is extremely suspicious.
I suspect the D.C. Police will interview the Cadets responsible for searching this area a year ago to determine if the spot was overlooked or positively searched.

In addition to the other bums, tramps, and thieves, the dog could have been thrown off the scent by the mere local presence of Hillary. That stench more than covers 17 acres. More like 17 miles.

It's possible Chandra was being held in the mansion and left to die or killed at a later date. What bothers me is why did Dick Gephardt put Condit on homeland security committe instead of removing him. It makes me wonder just how much Gephardt and the Dems knew about Chandra. The Dems needed a diversion from 9/11, it was back firing on them. Bring out the body so Hillary and Chelsea can ride their Camels into the White House into the next election. I think Gephardt is up to his eyeballs in a cover up for Condit. The Constitution, remove the corruption from the government or you must resign. Gephardt used homeland security as a sheild for Condit. The Levy family needs to get the Washington Police Chief as far away from the investigation as they possibly can.
