Does anyone know just how far away from the jogging path her remains were found? I mean if it was really far away, it would be more likely that she went to meet someone vs. being pulled off the path and attacked.

And why bury her? If it was a random crime wouldn't the attacker just do the deed and run? Being very far off the path and then being buried seems more pre meditated.

Yes, but premeditated does not mean preselected. A serial killer can decide where he will bury the body of his next victim before he even finds her. (This appears to be the case with the Green River Killer.) He could then wait until the next person meeting his profile was vulnerable, kill the person, and drag the body to the preselected site.

Still, when you consider that she would probably be abducted from a jogging path, it seems like a long way to drag a body.
