Washington , DC – Rev. Maurice Blackwell is a Catholic priest who was shot in Maryland by a man who claims Blackwell molested him when he was a teenager. His assailant, Dontee Stokes, age 26, turned himself into police. Stokes claims Blackwell molested him repeatedly in 1993.
Blackwell and other priests who molest teenagers are being referred to in the media as “pedophile priests” but this is inaccurate. Most of the boys molested by these priests are teenagers—not pre-teenagers.
In both legal and psychological terms, a true pedophile is someone fixated on having sex with pre-teen boys or girls. Men like Blackwell who molest teenagers are homosexuals, not pedophiles.
Ex-priests like Paul Shanley, under arrest in Boston are pederasts—practicing homosexuals who seek out teenage boys for sexual molestation. Shanley ran a homosexual bed and breakfast in Palm Springs , California with another homosexual priest.
Today, the Traditional Values Coalition announces a new initiative to help the media provide accurate coverage of the child molestation scandal within the Catholic Church and elsewhere.
Traditional Values Coalition has launched a media effort called the “Homosexual Urban Legend Series.”
This informational service is designed to provide reporters, editors, and other opinion leaders with accurate information on the relationship between homosexuality and the molestation of children. It will also expose and debunk dozens of factually inaccurate urban legends created by homosexual activist groups to promote their political and social agenda.
Among these Homosexual Urban Legends are the following:
1. Homosexuals seldom molest children
2. Homosexuals account for 10% of the population
3. 30% of all teen suicides are committed by homosexual boys and girls
4. Homosexuals are victims of an epidemic of hate crimes
5. Homosexuals are “born gay,” and many more.
Each of these Homosexual Urban Legends will be debunked with factual evidence from researchers, statisticians, and government studies.
The first in this series is “Exposed: Homosexual Child Molesters.” Homosexuals are attempting to spin the media on the child molestation scandal in the Catholic Church by claiming that these are “pedophile priests.”
The truth is that most of these cases of child molestation have involved teenage boys. A pedophile—according to both psychiatric and legal definitions is someone fixated on having sex with a boy or girl under the age of 13. "Let´s look at gay behavior as defined by two gays, Marshall Kirk and Hunter Madsen Ph.D., authors of After the Ball: How America will Conquer its Fear and Hatred of Gays in the 90´s (1989).
In Chapter Six, they outline “ten categories of misbehavior,” drawn from their own experiences, wide reading and thousands of hours of conversation with hundreds of other gays...
What follows are some highlights. As you read this, ask yourself if there is another human community, including the Mafia that could make these generalizations about itself. Ask yourself if we haven´t caught this disease, or at least the sniffles.
• The authors say “a surprisingly high percentage” of pathological liars and con men are gay. This results from a natural habit of self-concealment, and leads to a stubborn self-deception about one´s own gayness and its implications.
• They say gays suffer from a “narcissistic” personality disorder and they give this clinical description: “pathological self absorption, a need for constant attention and admiration, lack of empathy or concern for others, quickly bored, shallow, interested in fads, seductive, overemphasis on appearance, superficially charming, promiscuous, exploitative, preoccupied with remaining youthful, relationships alternate between over idealization and devaluation.”
• As an example of this narcissism, the authors say “a very sizable proportion of gay men” who have been diagnosed HIV positive continue to have unprotected sex.
• They say the majority of gays are extremely promiscuous and self-indulgent. They must continuously up the ante to achieve arousal. This begins with alcohol and drugs and includes such “forbidden” aspects of sex as wallowing in filth (fetishism and coprophilia) and sadomasochism, which involves violence.
• They say many gays indulge in sex in public bathrooms and think it is antigay harassment when it is stopped. Many think they have a right to importune straight males, including children.
• Many gays are “single minded sexual predators” fixated on youth and physical beauty alone. When it comes to the old or ugly, gays are “the real queerbashers.” Disillusioned themselves, they are cynical about love.
• “Relationships between gay men don´t usually last very long.” They quickly tire of their partners and fall victim to temptation. The “cheating ratio of ‘married´ gay males, given enough time, approaches 100%.”..."

The one difference I can indentify with my cousin was that he never claimed to be 'born that way' and didn't understand why others used that ploy. He wondered out loud how one can take 'pride' in themselves while claiming to be a victim of birth. He took great pride in his choice and looked down on other homosexuals who tried to 'hide' behind the genetics argument. Hey, at least he was honest in this one aspect of his life. In most other areas, he was a blatant liar who never grew up and was never able to financially support himself due to his choices with respect to boyfriends, drugs, alcohol, etc. Instead he would simply go to his parents (who were in complete denial about his choices) for money on a regular basis, and they would indulge him - chalking it up to his being a 'starving artist'. Truth was, he made a good income but spent it on his lusts.

Use this issue to turn the BSA bashing on its head.
The Diversity Crowd which has sought to destroy the BSA should be pressured by us common folks to publicly apply the same standards to the BSA as the Catholic Church. IOW, parents and organizations who support the policy of BSA are not teaching hate or discrimination....we are doing our jobs. Does this mean I think all homosexuals are child molestors? No. But does this mean I am willing to place my child's welfare in statistical probabilities? A resounding NO!

I know it's a choice from common sense. Everyone makes choices about sex - who they will have it with, how often, where, when, if, etc. It's just plain ignorant to suggest that somehow human beings have no control over this matter, because all sex is a decision.
If homosexuals are born that way, so must be pedophiles. It still does not excuse acting out.
