If this guy Guandeque actually did it, Condit has to be the unluckiest human being on the planet.

Not so. He would have brought it on himself by trying to coverup the kinky sex. There would still be a skeleton, his, in the closet. Still, the Senator is still the main culprit.

Condit has to be the unluckiest human being on the planet. Unlucky?!? He brought this whole mess completely onto himself! The scumbag intentionally lied and obstructed justice, whether or not he had anything to do with her death.
If this perp did randomly attack Chandra Levy, she could have been laying there injured for several days before dying. By obstructing the investigation Condit could have indirectly cost Chandra her life.(Admittedly pure speculation, but you see my point.)
That's what I'm so afraid of. If the police find that someone else did murder Chandra, everyone is going to throw up their hands and say, "Gee, Gary was completely innocent." No, Mr. Condit is not completely innocent. He just may not be guilty of murder.

If this guy Guandeque actually did it, Condit has to be the unluckiest human being on the planet.Condit isn't unlucky at all. He led a sleazy, deceptive, and perverted life long before Chandra arrived on the scene, and then repeatedly lied to and misled the police.
If Condit had been the stand-up Congressman and family man he pretends to be--actually working instead of disappearing for hours every day to chase nubile nookie--he wouldn't be in the situation he's now in.

He is still guilty of the affair, a 55 year old man an a 21 year old girl, his children are older, and he lied about it to everyone, including the police twice.

>>>Guandeque, who lived on the 1400 block of Somerset Place Northwest, was arrested last summer and sentenced in February 2002 to two concurrent terms of 10 years' imprisonment for a pair of assaults of female joggers in the Broad Branch section of the park.<<<
Looks like the unluckiest guy on the planet is Guandeque. Not only does he gets 10 years for assault (details at post 10) while OJ plays golf, but he may end up being the fall guy for a murder, even though the walkman was left at the scene. Pretty lame, to kill a girl for her walkman, then leave the prize behind.

This makes me suspect that Condit did not kill Chandra Levy, and that he lost his Congressional Primary for no other reason than he is a lowdown, philadering snake.
Works for me!

Yes, but he did bring some of it on himself by not coming clean with the police about his affair with Levy from the get go.
Also, Condit is not a smooth enough of a liar to get away with it. He looked sleazy, he looked like he was hiding something - not, probably, the murder, but rather his philandering.

"If this guy Guandeque actually did it, Condit has to be the unluckiest human being on the planet."He's not as unlucky as Lewinski, unless he got intimate with Clinton too that is.

I would like to know who these other two women are and where they work. It still does not excuse Condit's behavior. I heard that this guy told PD that he wanted their walkmans. Chandra's was with the body. Maybe she was killed at her place and the killer looked up the park on her computer.Of course there are many maybees.

Guandeque assaulted two joggers after Levy disappeared-- they got away. His MO is different-- he prefers blondes.

NO, he's not the unluckiest. He brought all the scorn and suspicion he's faced on himself.
Personaly I think he met her that day, or at minimum has heard from her and knew her plans and rough wherabouts. In the light most favorable to Condit, his secrecy divereted police effort and resources.
But he thought he'd save his own craven bony ass. In a well-deserved ironic kick in the pants, all that he feared came to pass - Scandal, suspicion, and a lost career.
