No Injuries Reported Despite Widespread Violence

ARLINGTON, Texas -- A fight broke out at a North Texas shopping mall Thursday afternoon, creating a frenzied scene. Hundreds of brawling teens flooded from the Parks Mall in a sea of flying fists and kicking legs.
Several separate battles would follow as the teens waged their wars and police and mall security tried to calm the crowd.
An unusually large number of high school students were hanging around the mall Thursday. According to the Dallas Independent School District, the teens had been let out of school early because it was their last day of class for the year.
One group of teens had been wandering the mall, harassing and even getting physical with other customers, according to Christy Gilfour, of the Arlington Police Department.
"They were creating a disturbance, pushing some customers, causing some minor property damage. And they were asked ... to leave and began being escorted out by officers," Gilfour said.
The ousting, however, quickly led to pushing and shoving and then exploded into an all-out brawl inside the mall, Gilfour said.
Once outside, things only got worse. As the students ran from the building, Chopper 5 captured even more fighting.
Pockets of battles peppered the sea of bodies flowing into the parking lot.
Our helicopter camera recorded several students being punched and kicked in their faces and pummeled about their bodies. Several crazed groups ganged up on individuals, repeatedly attacking them from all angles.
Arlington police rushed to the scene and began trying to break up the crowd. They arrested two adults for assault, according to Gilfour, but it's not yet known if they were high school students.
Despite the violence, there were no injuries reported.
My understanding is that legally the shooter is responsible for where his bullets go, i.e. through an apartment wall an into your neighbor's heart, etc.
For me the gun is for that trip from my car into the mall, and from the mall, loaded with packages to my car. I'll tell you why I like to carry, it makes me think calmly in a bad situation because I have a measure of control. I never have to panic, because I have back up.
Somebody's going to have to pay (them) for this outrage!
LOL.
Really? You are one tough stud, huh? </sarcasm>
It takes a particularly sick personality to participate in a 10 on 1 attack.
They "could" have missed the reporting but I asked them to keep an eye out for any news about it in their area.
It looks like another item that just wouldn't be PC to report.
Just imagine the news coverage if this had been a bunch of mostly white kids.
I just got word from South Bend, Indiana that within the hour (5/26, 5:40 pm CDT) there have been 'Hispanics' rioting in a city park. Anyone heard about this? Nothing on WNDU yet.
Recently I found myself going the same way as two Arab guys through the mall for a small distance, I kept an eye on them just to assure myself that they were harmless shoppers. It's just some natural component with me. Or I could be just wired weird. I think mostly it's due to having strange luck, bad luck in that I can find myself in bad situtations, good luck in that I have always managed to get out of them.=o)
