No Injuries Reported Despite Widespread Violence

ARLINGTON, Texas -- A fight broke out at a North Texas shopping mall Thursday afternoon, creating a frenzied scene. Hundreds of brawling teens flooded from the Parks Mall in a sea of flying fists and kicking legs.
Several separate battles would follow as the teens waged their wars and police and mall security tried to calm the crowd.
An unusually large number of high school students were hanging around the mall Thursday. According to the Dallas Independent School District, the teens had been let out of school early because it was their last day of class for the year.
One group of teens had been wandering the mall, harassing and even getting physical with other customers, according to Christy Gilfour, of the Arlington Police Department.
"They were creating a disturbance, pushing some customers, causing some minor property damage. And they were asked ... to leave and began being escorted out by officers," Gilfour said.
The ousting, however, quickly led to pushing and shoving and then exploded into an all-out brawl inside the mall, Gilfour said.
Once outside, things only got worse. As the students ran from the building, Chopper 5 captured even more fighting.
Pockets of battles peppered the sea of bodies flowing into the parking lot.
Our helicopter camera recorded several students being punched and kicked in their faces and pummeled about their bodies. Several crazed groups ganged up on individuals, repeatedly attacking them from all angles.
Arlington police rushed to the scene and began trying to break up the crowd. They arrested two adults for assault, according to Gilfour, but it's not yet known if they were high school students.
Despite the violence, there were no injuries reported.
You are correct and ours is almost to the breaking point.
Now you've done it. I'm scanning for the "libertarians = druggies" post already.
I am pro-gun and have thought about getting my permit to carry. But I'm wondering how you could stay within the bounds of the law and still engage in a shootout inside a mall. Seems like liability would abound. Where would be a safe place or direction to fire? (I'm not being sarcastic, I'm seriously asking.)
The reason I ask is I believe that, under Bush's present concept of a 'New World Order', any color of an ILLEGAL ALIEN trumps any color of an American citizen.
No, in the hood that is how you " tip " for poor service.
He's using CAPITALS, and punctuation and everything!
Isn't that special!
Someone should have participation prizes ready for our 'special' posters.
Until that happy day, here's a friendly tip...
Don't pick at your lobotomy incision scabs--you'll end up with scars.
You assclown - libertarians would be shooting their attackers.

You were right about the "congealed, rancid malice" on those threads, but what you didn't mention was that it was, mostly, your own.
Then, what's the first thing you do on this thread? You make some lame, personal attack on Cultural Jihad.
Looks like it's back to the tent for you. This time you can rot in there you hypocritical, EVAGINATARIAN.
You are asking a very good question. There are hundreds of such questions, and people who shoot and carry should think about them and discuss tactics continuously. Probably the only quick answer to your question is that carrying a firearm requires continuous attention to surroundings. Any shooting, even if 100% completely in self defense and justified, will cost the shooter time and money and at least one trip to the police station.
The specific answer to your question is that a shooter should always be aware of his backstop. Whether one can control the shot depends on the circumstances. There are bullets that reduce over-penetration (called hollow point bullets) and there are bullets that shatter upon impact (frangible ammunition), but they will not stop a missed shot.
After all Bush has to get all the fresh green he can if he is going to increase foreign aid by 50% over the next 3 years.
