I'm still at a loss when it comes to figuring out how the feds determine that someone is "not linked to terrorism". How exactly does one link a suspect to terrorism. Most of them don't have prior records. Do they expect them to be carrying al-Queada membership cards? The same line is printed every time they arrest a suspect, i.e., the guys taking pictures of the reservoir, the students in Virginia, the two brothers smuggling middle eastern men into New Jersey, the consulate employee in Saudi Arabia issuing phony visas for bribes, and now these guys. And those are the ones I remember from just the past two weeks.

the timing of his attempted liquidation is pretty sinsister. it appears he knew something was scheduled to happen, but he couldn't get his trades off prior to the close. this may indicate his holdings were thinly traded companies with no active markets for their shares. maybe some of his little "short sale candidates".
