So, why don't the techies get together and picket Hollywood? This will not inspire a love of Hollywood in the hearts of users and developers. In fact, it would lead to a black market that would make today's look like Sunday school.

#1 It's a crime to break such systems and without mass public support, people do get prosecuted. Take a look at the case of Dmitry Sklyarov. A Russian programmer who wrote a program for his employer in Russia to sell, sold it out of Russia and when he came to this country to give an overview of this product on behalf of his employer, federal agents arrested him. #2, too many people still think that only commies and free loaders are against Hollywood. Nevermind the fact that little johnny can go to prison for doing academic research on such systems for his computer science, computer information systems or math senior thesis.
