This is the Houston school district, which is a typical, liberal, bloated, poor-performing inner-city school district. It's not representative of Texas, nor is it even representative of Houston, which has several extremely good school districts.

I can assure you that HISD is neither a role model, nor typical of Texas school districts.

That is dead on Dog. As a graduate of HISD I received a fine public school education. It is now and has been a total joke for years. I could not send my son to HISD. Regarding this article, I wish Orwell was alive to read this. Folks, they are taking our culture and our country away from us. We lost at the Alamo, but we whipped Mexico's ass in the war.Texas history had a great deal in shaping my character, and I am very proud of my heritage. GOD BLESS TEXAS, AND AMERICA.

Oh, I am glad you cleared that up. And I thought Austin was the only liberal city in Texas. Yes, I am being a little sarcastic.

But please know, that from sea to shinning sea, the majority of these public school teachers are teaching the kids their socialist agendas. It's everwhere, not just Texas.
