Florida Secretary of State Katherine Harris, already busy running for Congress, is writing a book that promises to shed new light about the 2000 presidential election recount, which made her a household name.
The book, "Center of the Storm: Practicing Principled Leadership in a Time of Crisis," will offer "previously unknown anecdotes from the recount and will focus on the leadership principles Harris drew upon during the process," CNN reported today.
In Al Gore's failed attempt to steal the election, it's hard to imagine anything more underhanded than his fight to exclude the military vote, but if anybody has the dirt on Gore and the guts to reveal it, Harris does.
The book is due out late this summer, and Harris reportedly plans a promotional tour that will lead right up to her expected electoral victory in November.

WND launches new book imprint:
"The new imprint will publish a wide variety of titles, including a book authored by radio talk-show sensation Michael Savage, one by Florida Secretary of State Katherine Harris and another by Jack Cashill and James Sanders on the downing of TWA Flight 800.
"Katherine Harris, who rocketed to public attention in the aftermath of the 2000 presidential election as Florida's secretary of state, will share her principles on leadership. Harris' advice about "sticking to your guns" and "staring down the dog" carry special weight in light of the stormy, months-long controversy that finally resulted in George W. Bush's election as president."

We need more people like Katherine Harris in Washington. She is a gusty lady and an all-round class act.

A must read! I can't wait for this to hit the bookstores. The RATs will be on Larry King, with Katie, and CNN just smearing this poor girl some more!
One thing that rats don't like, is exposure!
Maybe instead of rats, we should call them cockroaches, since they run with the light is turned on them!
