May 30, 2002 -- An 11-year-old Connecticut girl, impregnated by a 75-year-old pervert, has given birth - and prosecutors are working to put the father behind bars for the rest of his life.

James Kave, who lives in a residence for the elderly in Bridgeport, has admitted having sex with the girl several times beginning in January 2001.

Yes, ten year olds *can* get pregnant. This article on early puberty in girls says that by age 8, *half* of black girls are beginning puberty. (It's about 15% for whites.) It's tied to obesity and inactivity.

What this means is that by age 10 about the same proportion of black girls are sexually mature (and thus capable of becoming pregnant.)

So her "goal" is to raise the baby. That's just as sick as the old pervert who got her pregnant in the first place.

If the person knew that it would cause a fire, yeah, its his mistake. If a person KNEW that another person was going to cause a fire, and did nothing to stop it, is he partially responsible?

With that thought, is it possible God makes mistakes, such as Lucifer? Knowing he would fall? If God knows that a person is going to Hell, why create them? If God knows that a person is going to be raped, and in turn, rape 100 other people, why allow him to be raped at all?

Officials who run the Adopt-A-Godparent service do background checks on the adults who request a young person, but somehow, Kave fell through the cracks. He has a 1984 sexual assault conviction in New Haven.

At least the 75-year-old's constitutional rights weren't violated by him being discriminated against due to Connecticut's wonderful sexual offender list. /Sarcasm

This is the foster grandparent program and many older people baby sit the young. It's a good program.

Translated, the grandparents won't force her to give the baby for adoption but will raise it herself. This is usual for young pregnancies, but translated it means that the grandparents will do most of the parenting. Such babies are better off with grandmom watching out for them then when a 16 year old gets "welfare" so she can set up her own apartment and raise the kid, who ofetn ends up neglected.

I haven't delivered any ten year olds, but in the last three months I've diagnosed pregnancy in three fourteen/fifteen year olds.

The dirty little secret of the "sexual revolution" is that it is leading to normalizing sex for 10 year olds.

I'm getting so utterly sick of reading the benign "somehow fell through the cracks." Kave was a predatory time bomb ignored by some pointy headed social service type who obviously doesn't take his/her job seriously enough. Time to fire these I-go-to-my-job-but-I-don't-do-my-job twits, possibly prosecute them as accessories before the fact, and then, as a society, shun them. They're as dangerous to our society as those they don't check on are.

It is not unusual for girls to start their periods at the age of 9, I have friends who did. But the main question here is : Where are the parents ??!!!?? This poor child is already ruined. The baby should be given up for adoption, an 11 year old is under the impression that this is simply a baby doll that wets its diaper for real. Where are these parents coming from these days ? Which generation were they born in ? Do we have a whole generation of abused children, now grown, who are visiting their own hell upon their own innocent children ? I planned my kids, and raising them has been, without a doubt, the hardest thing I have EVER done. Parenthood is not something to be taken lightly, and yet there are so many idiots who just have kids and are surprised that they actually have to work to parent them. I just don't get it.

That's an interesting thought. But my belief is that God makes no mistakes, He allows them.
He created the angels, including Lucifer, as well as all mankind and gave them/us all free will.

I choose to believe that all things happen for a reason and sometimes we don't understand why. That's where faith comes in real handy. And while it's tested on a daily basis, I'm greatful to have mine.
