Her mother is NOT the smartest woman in the world and God spare us if she was...'cause it wouldn't say much for the rest of us. She was given that title by the press or NOW or some other usless entity. Having said that...I think we should let Chelsea and the Bush Twins along with any other young people who have parents or relatives in public life. I am sure Chelsea must be ashamed to hear the horrid things her father does and maybe this is the only way she can put them from her mind. She is a young woman and has a right to drink herself into a stupor as long as she doesn't drive. Most young people do this now and then as well as "responsible adults." I am not defending the Clintons. I think they are despicable and poor excuses for parents and human beings but...their daughter is not responsible for the acts of their parents. Please...stop the nasty criticisms of her...she's been dealing with these parents for a long time and it can't be easy for her. Let's try to be a little more gentle with her and all the others that hit the papers. I think it's the right thing to do. Otherwise, we lower ourselves to the standards of the streets.
