This is no reason for the division into
the "all gays are saints and must be exulted as a group (GLSEN position)", and
the "all gays are sinners and must be punished as a group" camps.
Why not just punish those that break the law and leave it at that ?
In that way, more gays would be jailed for sex offences than their proportion in the population and those that choose to lead otherwise legal lives would be able to do so. I figure that should make most people happy.
I don't belong to either. I belong to the "gay lifestyle and related homosexual acts are perversions of nature that tend to lead to gross disease and early death and ought not be condoned, encouraged, excused, or enabled" camp.
