I think the writer of this article is avoiding the true nature of this achievment gap between the races, just like all liberals and most conservatives do. In study after study on IQ comparisons between blacks and whites here in the US there is a consistent gap of about 15 points. That doesn't mean there aren't intellectually capable blacks; it just means that a higher percentage of whites have IQs over 100 than do blacks.

Even if one is saddled with a lower IQ than the average, he can attain a degree of intellectual acumen that will enable him to be a productive member of society; he just has to work harder at it. The problem, however, is that most blacks are trapped in a culture which disdains academic achievement and self sufficiency in favor of being leaches and parasites on society at large. The fact that our society places more value on the acquisition of material things over being a good person when assessing someone's worth as a human being just exaserbates the problem.

The bottom line is, it hardly matters what your IQ is. What you do with what you have, black, white, red, brown, etc., is what raises your chance for success.
Going unchallenged by the failed public education system, being passed off as something of value, is fraud and a monsterous crime being perpetrated on Americans.
