At least be honest about the availability of other health insurance as well as the fact that you both will be given health care. It makes your complaint about no national health plan a little more credible.

Also, why would your wife be accepting of a nat'l plan and not medicare ? Qualifying for private disability comes with meeting eligibilty also, why the disconnect ?

I wasn't complaining about not having a national health plan. My point was that due all the circumstances, I may begrudgingly be forced into one. Given the choice, I'll take affordable free-market anything ... anytime!:)
