I, however, don't think ignorance is much protection.
You are also telling me we live in slavery, and calling my thoughts stupid. Yet you sit at your five hundred dollar plus computer and mock the very system and society that lets you write your opinions that are read by anyone who cares to. Nobody is breaking your door down and arresting you for them. You are free to advance any theory you want, even these conspiratorial absurdities. Some slavery.
I wasn't necessarily disagreeing with you entirely, but people with such high mindedness apparently would rather stand alone. My blessings to you.
I'm not being patronizing, I'm just sick and tired of those who REFUSE to see what's going on behind the scenes BECAUSE they have their computer, color TV and plenty of food to eat. Try driving your car through a government check-point without your seat-belt on, try building a little storage shed for your pretty new riding mower without getting the government's permission and paying the appropriate tax or fee, try driving your car down the roads that YOU pay for without first paying the government for the priviledge of doing so AGAIN, try getting married without the appropriate license, try practicing law (or a whole host of other livelyhoods) without the government's paper giving you permission, try homeschooling YOUR child without (at the VERY least) filling out the paperwork REQUIRED by the government, try not paying the government their rent (taxes) on YOUR land and see what happens, try selling a firearm that has been in your family for generations at ANY sort of public gathering without a license, try carrying a firearm to protect yourself and your family without the permission of the government or without paying the mandated fees and see what happens. Our prisons AND graveyards are full of FREE people who weren't doing anything that WAS legal just 80 or so years ago but has now been made illegal by those in power with the firepower to back up their wishes. Ever read Frederic Bastiat's The Law? Maybe you should, we're not NEARLY as free as you seem to think we are just because we can run our mouth on the Net and not be shot in our tracks. The nice citizens of Russia, Germany, China, etc. didn't immediately go from relative freedom to the killing fields either but that didn't change the outcome.
Those who will not learn from history are doomed to repeat it...
Actually, agreeing with me has nothing to do with it. There are a great number of people who know a LOT more on this subject than do I. Charlotte Thomson Iserbyt, John Taylor Gatto, Cathy Duffy and Robert Holland all come immediately to mind. If you take the tact with everyone else that you have taken with me, all I can say is, "if the shoe fits...."
REALLY?? Please see:
Agenda 21
Desertification Treaty
Sustainable Development
The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child
The International Criminal Court
The World Bank
The International Monetary Fund
Do you HONESTLY think that many of these "organizations" have (and STATE) the same basic agenda by coincidence? Do you think it coincidental that US, European, Scandanavian, Australian, Japanese and (former) Soviet Union schools are ALL teaching the SAME propaganda (revisionist history, homosexual "rights", evolution, new math, whole-language, etc.)? In every single instance, these NEW courses are in perfect alignment with the UN's desired consequences and outcomes.
When you can't argue your point with FACTS, slaughter the messenger - way to go! Better a "nut" than a sheep!
Thanks!! I was beginning to think I was out here all by myself ;-)
I guess the fact that it takes such an inordinate amount of time to see how all these things effectively tie together is why most folks never seem to catch on. Just as those behind the scenes want it, no doubt.
Apparently you don't remember international ANSWER's anti war protests on three continents, particularly in Europe. Find me a conservative group that can do that.
The left organizes stories in the media very efficiently.
