The ADL has the political muscle to force the FBI to coordinate with it. There is no other answer. It is one thing for an agency to have someone speak before any group. It is another to have a group such as the ADL work in conjunction with a Federal agency.

I say, let the CC or CL do the same, but have them prefix their intros with "the ADL has opened the door for allowing potential target groups to bring their concerns to the FBI. We commend their initial actions, and are following in their footsteps." (Or something like that.) What could the ADL then say? "You can't do that?" I don't think so. What's good for the goose...
