The AC doesn't destroy Israel to get control of the land. His whole intent is to destroy all the Jews and destroy all the Christians. Jesus, as far as the Christians are concerned, said that, "And except those days should be shortened (Rapture), there shall be no flesh (Christians) be saved; but for the elect sake (Christians) those days shall be shortened." (Matt. 24:22)

There doesn't seem to be a "(Rapture)" or a "(Christians)" in my concordance. Did you plug those in yourself?
