Look at the ages involved. I don't know anyone that would recommend a book in which a high school freshman male (age 14) has a relationship with a 4th or 5th grade female (age 10).

I don't know how to properly explain, since I'm not a childhood development "expert", but I'm not talking about a romantic or sexual crush...

In this instance, a crush means that overpowering need to be with that special same-sex friend or group of friends...same-sex peer approval is very important to kids as they begin to move away from dependence on their parents. I'm not making the phenomenon up, believe me, but the homosexuals have tried to twist this normal age-related gender behavior as indicating homosexuality. At a certain age, boys do indeed prefer to be with other boys and girls just have to be with their girl friends. Sometimes this need is intense enough that "experts" call it a "crush"...I think they need to come up with a different term, since the real "crushes" come later, hopefully directed toward the opposite sex.

I see. And that makes perfect sense, just another way of twisting and distorting the facts through their perverted pea-brains.

I agree with you, "they" (whoever these "experts" and/or perverts are) need to change the wording of a "crush"....I think they are grossly misusing the term deliberatly to deceive these young kids, or whomever they are trying to sell. (read: evil lies).

Suddenly, it's not enough for murdering unborn babies to be sanctioned under US law; child pornography, child molestation, and books about "gay" 10 year olds is now also sanctioned.
