Last week in this space, I wrote about President Bush's remarkable June 2 speech at West Point, in which he laid out, in effect, a liberty doctrine according to which the United States will no longer be satisfied to stand as a symbol of freedom and the success that flows from it, but instead will seek to protect and promote liberty in all parts of the world as the "single . . . model of human progress."

So now a term coined by a reporter is going to be attributed to Bush?. I would bet real money that by tomorrow there will be multiple threads screaming BUSH TO CREATE NEW INTERNATIONAL ORDER-WE TOLD YOU SO!

We will never again be in a position of "superpower rivalry," let alone a cog in a multilateral balance of power.

Well, in order to fulfill that goal we had better add the Democrat Party to the Axis of Evil. The last two, Carter and Clinton, immediately set out to gut our military and I expect any future ones will do the same.

Well, maybe potential world-leftist moves are always in the offing, trying to spring forth from anywhere, and this needs to be checked constantly to be sure.
