I don't suppose the NSA or FBI could possibly be smart enough to fund a company which puts spyware on people's machines by masquerading as an anti-spyware program... /sarcasm..

Yep, and a good personal firewall helps too. www.zonelabs.com. It's free to home users, and a reasonably priced upgrade if you want to.
