OK! I was not aware of this at all!
Thanks for your Reply!

The LA Times and Washington Post are B***!

The LA Times and Washington Post are B***!
Why three ***? "Base" isn't an obscenity. And it's the truth -- even if understated. :^)
To: Avoiding_Sulla
OK, I need 7 of the *, for the word I had in mind, but there is also one word where I would need fewer* . Take your pick!
To: Ernest_at_the_Beach
Oh! Well then why not just say: The LA Times and Washington Post are
illegitimate!
It both leaves your readers no doubt, and has you speaking in terms that are several levels above our opponent's conception. :^)
You are clear, concise, and not down in their muck with them. ;^)
Keep up the good work!

You keep up the good work on avoiding sulla!
I read your profile page.
It was excellent!
To: Lucius Cornelius Sulla
That isn't even the point. The man actively sought to circumvent the expressed will of the state voters. And he wanted to lock people up simply for telling others that marijuana might relieve one or more of their medical conditions.
He supported the expansion of gun control legislation, and even duped hundreds of gun owners into admitting they were breaking the law by offering a phoney "registration" amnesty.
He liberally used asset forfeiture laws and failed to thoroughly investigate the deaths of numerous victims of "no knock" warrant searches, including a very suspicious shooting death on a piece of land desired by the federal government (a shooting involving federal park police, no less).
He fought against Native Americans rights to organize cities and police departments on their reservations.
That ain't my kind of Republican. He lost because he turned people like me off.

That ain't my kind of Republican. As I thought, it looks like he made 'your expenses for drug purchasing go up too much'. Why am I not surprised.
To: Lucius Cornelius Sulla
My expenses for drug purchases? You belittle only yourself with that thoughtless refrain. Lundgren was a totalitarian freak in every sense of the word and I am happy he lost.
To: monkeyshine
I am happy he lost.Another satisfied supporter of Grayout Davis heard from.

Cuffy Meigs, the political operative from 'Atlas Shrugged' comes to mind. That's the new paradigm for politicians, in our brave new world of American Socialism.
Be a thug yourself(works especially well for Dems); failing that, threaten to unleash thugs that are kept on standby to act on the whims of their masters.
Heads on Pikes!

I think you've got something. By now you've seen my profile page. Of interest in avoiding sulla is who is the obsequious schemer, the cleverly spineless Wesley Mooch of our real world? We know it ain't Doofus.
To: Ernest_at_the_Beach
Thanks.
To: Avoiding_Sulla
"...who is the obsequious schemer...?"
'His name is legion...'
I'm afraid there are thousands of aspirants...just as there are thousands of 'Cuffys'.
