From the original article:

So apparently singling out a man for a heinous threat is OK because he's the chairman of the world's largest energy trading company. That's according to the man who, as a state senator, sponsored California's 1984 hate-crimes law. Evidently the crusader against intimidation on the basis of race, religion and sexual orientation feels no hesitation at all about intimidating someone and threatening him with the brutal use of physical force simply because he heads the world's largest energy trading company...

An Enron spokesman said that Lockyer's chilling stated desire to arrange the rape of Lay does not merit a response. The spokesman is wrong. Lockyer's remarks merit public disgrace and removal from office. After all, rape is not a form of legal justice in America-- is it?

Dan Lundgren was merely incompetent, but I fear for what remains of my adopted state (I've been a Californian since 1994) that it could have elected this filth to office. If California Republicans have anything left of the brains they were born with, they will hammer the living daylights out of Lockyer everywhere he goes on his campaign trail and not permit anyone to forget what a slug Lockyer is.

Davis and Lockjaw and Burton are all cut from the same cloth!.

Davis is much more clever at hiding it. Lockjaw has revealed himself many times!

Isn't it amazing? The moderator changes the name back to inane title the L.A.Times gave this editorial (undoubtedly to bury it) rather than the more attention-getting one I gave it and it makes both your comment and mine at number 1 meaningless.

You'd think the moderators would have caught on by now that publications choose the titles they use rather than the authors of the material.

Hint guys: The L.A. Times is neither a friend to conservatives nor a fan of FR.
PLEASE STOP HELPING THEM bury the important stories!
