This should not be a vendetta against the institution. The real problem is the cumulative hiring mistakes that have been allowed to happen, who then take over the institution.
This would be similar to Bill Clinton and his cast of characters. (Wait, is character the right word?) The solution to that problem was not to eliminate the office of President, but to rectify the hiring mistake made in 1992 and repeated in 1996. That was accomplished in 2000, and hopefully the American voters will not make another hiring mistake of that magnitude in the future.
Hiring mistakes can be corrected but not in a rigged system. The university tenure process insures only left-wingers get tenure because those in charge only want their kind around. American voters can rectify our "hiring mistakes" of elected leaders at the ballot box at set intervals. No such option is available to us to rid universities of their anti-American marxists, still carrying the torch for the proven misery and destruction of their ideology.
