The TV satellite pix were NOT HACKED. They were being broadcast on a commercial satellite "in the clear" (unscrambled) because they contained no intelligence value.

What stupid, inaccurate hysteria.

Sounded like your criticism might have been directed at the poster of this thread, but the article, headline too, comes from a legitimate website,

"Associated Newspapers Ltd.. "Part of the Daily Mail, The Mail on Sunday, Evening Standard, and Metro Media Group". A British news consortioum.

Apparently in your world "hacked" means "malicious hacking".

By common definition the signals were hacked since they were not readily available through commercial subscription.
